Vitamin C - (from Rose Hips and other natural sources) Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant that is required for tissue growth and repair, adrenal land function, and healthy gums. It protects against infection, enhances immunity. It also may prevent atherosclerosis, and reduce cholesterol levels and high blood pressure. Essential in the formation of collagen, vitamin C protects against blood clotting and bruising, and promotes the healing of wounds.
Citrus Bioflavonoids - enhance absorption of vitamin C, thus they should be taken together. Bioflavonoids act synergistically with Vitamin C to protect and preserve the structure of capillary blood vessels as well as promote circulation, stimulates bile production, lower cholesterol levels, treat and prevent cataracts, and has an antibacterial effect.
Rutin - This is a specific bioflavonoid associated with vitamin D. Rutin is a specific for vascular integrity. It is used for varicose veins to strengthen, tonicity and restore elasticity and regain their normal tone flaccid.
Hesperidin Complex: A flavonoid glycoside, isolated from the rind of certain citrus fruits; used to reduce
capillary permeability.
